E.J. Fox was Langdon's first formal educator. He taught from 1885-1888 after which he became the county superintendent of schools for 12 years. He then returned to teaching and was a member of the school board for 20 years and served as Langdon's mayor.

Elsie Schrader taught in Cavalier County for over 38 years. She came to Langdon school system in 1957 where she taught until her retirement in 1985. She received her two-year standard degree from Valley City State College and her bachelor of science degree from the University of North Dakota. Schrader has published a book of her teaching memories, Year After Year.

Helen Osmon received her associate degree from Jamestown College and her bachelor of arts degree from Valley City State College. She taught 49 years with 46 of them being in the Langdon Elementary School. Her bubbly spirit and summer workas Langdon Pool manager kept her number one in the hearts of children everywhere.

Wallace "Ozzie" Osmon taught 36 years in Cavalier County with 29 of them in Langdon Public School. He was a teacher, coach, and counselor. While teaching in Milton, he served on the Langdon School Board. Osmon retired from teaching at Langdon in 1985. His wit, humor, and sincerity made him a successful educator. He received a master's degree in education from the University of Northern Colorado and a master's degree in guidance and counseling from the University of North Dakota.

Margaret Kertz began teaching in Langdon in 1949. She taught in Osnabrock for four years and in Langdon again from 1958 until retiring in 1984. Kertz was the librarian and English instructor. She earned her bachelor's in journalism from University of North Dakota and her master's in library science from the University of Minnesota. She was a member of the honorary Phi Beta Kappa.

Delmar Lewis was the Langdon School Superintendent from 1972-1991. He expertly and efficiently guided the school through its largest and busiest times. Lewis graduated from Minot State College and received his master's in education from the University of Montana.

Irwin "Irv" Reinke received his bachelor of science degree from LaCrosse, Wisconsin and his master's in administration from Colorado School of Mines. Reinke was the Langdon High School principal and science teacher from 1954-1986. He led with integrity, honesty, and fairness.

Winifred Schefter taught in many township schools and in Wales before entering the Langdon system where she taught for 32 years, retiring in 1971. She received her final formal educator's degree from Mayville State College.

Gerald Klein taught over 38 years in Cavalier County including 22 in the Langdon School system. Klein was a teacher, coach, principal, mentor, and community leader. He started Langdon's savings bond program. Klein was a graduate of Valley City State College.

Robert (Bob) Short taught business and office education in Langdon High School from 1953-1984. He was a "Man for All Seasons" being both a school and community leader. He received Langdon Outstanding Citizen award and was instrumental in making business education move from the school to the work place. Short received his bachelor's degree from Mayville State College.
